தீபாவளியை முன்னிட்டு ஆர்டிஓ அலுவலக இடைத்தரகர்களை கண்டித்து லாரி உரிமையாளர்கள் வேலைநிறுத்தம் அறிவிப்பு

சென்னை, அக்டோபர் 31: ஆர்டிஓ அலுவலகங்களில் இடைத்தரகர்கள் பெருகுவதைக் கண்டித்தும் தீபாவளி நேரத்தில் லஞ்சம் வசூலிக்கப்படுவதைக் கண்டித்தும் மணல் லாரி உரிமையாளர்கள் சங்கம் சார்பில் வரும் ஒன்றாம் தேதி முதல் மூன்று நாட்கள் வேலைநிறுத்தப் போராட்டம் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

சென்னையில் செய்தியாளர்களைச் சந்தித்து மணல் லாரி உரிமையாளர்கள் சங்கத் தலைவர் திரு. யுவராஜ் பேசுகையில், கனிம வளத்துறை அமைச்சர் யாரும் அன்பளிப்பு கொடுக்காதீர்கள் என்று தெரிவித்தபோதிலும், லாரி உரிமையாளர்களிடமிருந்து கோடிக்கணக்கான ரூபாய் வசூல் செய்யப்படுவதாக குற்றம் சாட்டினார். மேலும், நாள்தோறும் லாரி ஓட்டுநர்களைக் கைது செய்யும் காவல்துறையினர் ரசீது கொடுத்து அனுப்பி வைக்கும் குவாரி உரிமையாளர்களைக் கைது செய்வதில்லை என்றும், லஞ்ச ஒழிப்புத்துறையில் புகார் அளித்தும் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படவில்லை என்றும் அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.

தங்கள் பிரச்சினைகளை அரசு மற்றும் முதலமைச்சர் திரு. சி. ஜோசப் விஜய் கவனத்திற்கு கொண்டு செல்லும் வகையில் சென்னை, திருவள்ளூர், செங்கல்பட்டு, காஞ்சிபுரம் உள்ளிட்ட எட்டு மாவட்டங்களில் வரும் ஒன்றாம் தேதி முதல் மூன்று நாட்கள் வேலைநிறுத்தப் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட உள்ளதாகவும், அப்போது 20,000 லாரிகள் இயங்காது என்றும் திரு. யுவராஜ் தெரிவித்தார்.
